All children in our school are supported in their education and personal development, regardless of their needs (additional or otherwise) and set high expectations in order to achieve their best.
Children with SEND are identified early and offered access to the most appropriate support (both in school and out) or referrals in a timely and supportive manner. Both parents and children are met with to explain the processes so that they are included in all stages of their child(ren)’s journey through school and life with SEND.
Where necessary, we seek the support and guidance of outside agencies to enable us to better provide for each and every child.

ISPs & (E)APDR:
Children identified with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) will have their own Individual Support Plan (ISP), which will be reviewed according to the Assess, Plan, Do, Review (APDR) process outlined below:

Where the APDR cycle is not meeting the needs of an individual child, a referral can be made to the SEND & Inclusion Hub for an Enhanced Assess, Plan, Do, Review (EAPDR) cycle. Click here for more information:
If additional provision and recommendations from the EAPDR process still does not meet the needs of an individual child, then an EHCNA (Educational, Health and Care Needs Assessment) application may be required once all previous steps have been unsuccessful. Please see picture and links below for more details and advice on this process.
